One of the hard things about writing about restaurants is that you want to be very careful that you never over-state something. If you rate something too highly you can effect your credibility and really it leaves you nowhere to go should you find something better.

It’s still light enough to enjoy a beer in the sun after work, so one thing is clear – summer is upon us. But that’s not the only thing that we’ve been waiting for, the amazing Renaissance exhibition has finally arrived at the National Gallery of Australia and the Verve Clicquot Sculpture Bar has reopened. There’s so much going on in this crazy town, we just can’t contain ourselves.

To celebrate we are running a competition. The prize? Two tickets to the Renaissance exhibition and a bottle of Verve Clicquot care of our wonderful friends at the Sculpture Bar. Imagine viewing the classics such as Raphael, Botticelli, Bellini and Titian then ducking out to the fabulous sculpture garden to sip champagne and chill out to some killer beats by local DJs.
