Best of Summer Competition

NGA Renaissance Competition

It’s still light enough to enjoy a beer in the sun after work, so one thing is clear – summer is upon us. But that’s not the only thing that we’ve been waiting for, the amazing Renaissance exhibition has finally arrived at the National Gallery of Australia and the Verve Clicquot Sculpture Bar has reopened. There’s so much going on in this crazy town, we just can’t contain ourselves.

To celebrate we are running a competition. The prize? Two tickets to the Renaissance exhibition and a bottle of Verve Clicquot care of our wonderful friends at the Sculpture Bar. Imagine viewing the classics such as Raphael, Botticelli, Bellini and Titian then ducking out to the fabulous sculpture garden to sip champagne and chill out to some killer beats by local DJs. Belissimo!!!

Love Canberra

Why we love canberra

One of the best and most comprehensive looks at Canberra we have ever seen. More of Tara's great work can be found at http://inthetaratory.wordpress.com - Thanks for the article Tara!

Canberra. The mere mention of this word usually results in a screwing-up-of-the-nose or rolling-of-the-eyes. I’m now used to this reaction when I tell interstate friends where I live. But, after three years of being based in our nation’s capital, I’ve come to realise that there’s much more to the city than meets the eye. While it certainly is public servant territory here, it really doesn’t have to be all work and no play.

Write For In The Act

Writing Canberra In The Act

Do you love Canberra as much as we do? Have you found something amazing here that makes you want to run to the top of a mountain and shout it to the world?

Well, we don’t have a mountain here at InTheAct.com.au but we do have a great opportunity for you to share your favourite experiences. If you have something that you want to tell everyone about then we invite you to send it through to us and if we like it we will publish it.

An Organised Wardrobe

I am 27 years old and throughout my quarter century I have learnt a lot about wardrobe organisation. I know exactly how things should be hung up, divided, sorted, decluttered and displayed. I have researched the methodologies for creating a sanctuary of organised bliss. I know all the systems, boxes, vacuum bags, cabinets and shelves which will facilitate this process. The only problem is that while knowledge is power, I am yet to turn knowledge into reality.
